Only 11% of 1,175 UK-based legal professionals surveyed in June 2023 by LexisNexis expect generative AI to have a “transformative impact” on legal services.
We at @UnbiasedConsulting think this number is much too low. Law firms who underestimate generative AI’s impact risk being put at a strategic disadvantage very quickly by those firms who recognize its potential and embrace it quickly.

Without going into specifics, we think these numbers reveal a lack of understanding of the current and near-term future capabilities of Generative AI technologies, but they do explain the small number of people who expect its impact to be transformative.
